The 6 Days Sikkim Silk Route Tour Package is a journey that takes you through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the world. The tour begins in Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, and also takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Silk Route.
Journey begins in Gangtok, where we head towards Zuluk, a small village located on the old Silk Route. On the way, you’ll get to witness the beauty of the Kupup Lake and the Nathula Pass. Which marks the border between India and China.
Explore Zuluk and visit the Thambi View Point, which offers stunning views of the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayan mountains. We’ll also visit the ancient Silk Route trading post of Rongli and the Yak Golf Course, the highest golf course in the world.
We’ll head towards Padamchen, another small village on the Silk Route, where we’ll visit the Lingtam Monastery and the Aritar Lake. The lake is known for its clear blue waters and is surrounded by lush green forests.
Visit the historic town of Kalimpong and explore its colonial architecture, flower nurseries, and also bustling markets. We’ll also visit the Durpin Monastery and the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, a Buddhist monastery located on a hilltop.
We’ll explore two of the most popular tourist destinations in Sikkim – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. As the lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the locals hold it sacred, and also the Baba Mandir is a shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The tour ends on day six as we head back to Gangtok. On the way, we’ll visit the Rumtek Monastery. One of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim, before concluding our journey in Gangtok.
